Interview with Laser Scanning Europe

We had the opportunity to have an interview with Eric Bergholz from Laser Scanning Europe. We showcased Qbitec for Revit, along with an interactive demo of its key features.

The discussion covered not only the functionalities of the plugin but also technical challenges. Eric asked targeted questions about data processing and the streaming of large point cloud datasets. The interview provided insights into how these challenges are addressed and the benefits the system offers to users.

Another topic was future plans. A key focus was on the ongoing project to develop a Rhino plugin in collaboration with the community. This cooperative approach allows for the creation of solutions that seamlessly integrate into existing workflows.

Additionally, the conversation explored how point cloud technology could be licensed to other CAD platforms, extending its applications beyond the current system. This opens up exciting possibilities for broader adoption of the technology.
